Ordesa National Park Canyoning and Via Ferrata, 5-day multi-adventure trip in the Spanish Pyrenees! This exciting trip takes us into the most famous canyons in the greater Ordesa National Park region. Short rappels, long rappels, short approaches, spectacular mountains and mountain towns, and lots of early season water make this an essential area for canyoning enthusiasts! Some of the most picturesque via ferratas in Spain are found in this area as well, making it a must visit destination for any outdoor adventure seeker.

What Is Included?
- Certified Spanish Mountain Guides Association (AEGM) canyoning guide and rock climbing guide (native English, fluent Spanish)

- Footwear for canyoning (your feet will get wet!), a second pair of dry shoes for via ferrata. See "Material" section for more details.
Prerequisites
- No previous canyoning or via ferrata experience is required. However, some experience may be useful.
- A positive attitude and desire to take part in the activities! This is an active vacation so be ready to move your body and feel the excitement!
- A medium to high level of physical and mental fitness is necessary for this trip.
- Each person must be able to hike for 1-2hr in mountainous terrain. Access to and from some of the canyons is remote or in high alpine terrain.
- Each person on this trip must be able to swim. All the canyons will have water in them and short sections of swimming may be necessary. Depending on snowmelt, rain, and other climatic and non-climatic conditions water levels can change dramatically.
Material
The following is a list of personal material that each participant should bring for this canyoning and via ferrata trip:
Canyoning
- Canyoning boots or sneakers with good rubber soles (i.e. Vibram). You will get wet and be walking over wet rocks and potentially slick surfaces for extended periods during each day of canyoning. Good footwear is vital! If you do not have canyoning-specific boots, bring a pair of sneakers or boots with good rubber soles.
- Bathing suit to wear under your wetsuit.
- Dry clothes to change into after finishing the activity.
- Personal medication
- Sun screen SPF 30+
Via Ferrata
- Hiking boots or sneakers with rubber soles (i.e. Vibram). Preferably a different pair than the pair you will use for canyoning. Dry shoes are more comfortable!
- Small backpack (20-30L) for personal items.
- Water bottle(s)/Camelback, etc. Minimum 1L.
- Personal medication
- Sun glasses, sun screen SPF 30+, sun hat, lip balm
- Optional: Leather gloves
