The hike incorporates a little bit of all the natural areas found in this region. We will hike through lush low valleys, up and over rocky ridge lines, and possibly cross snow fields depending on existing conditions. We will see several snow-capped volcanoes, both dormant and active! Condors will fly unnervingly close overhead but the view of these behemoths will surely make you awestruck. There are many glaciers and we will get up close and personal with one of the biggest in the area. Additionally, we will hike over lava fields from an ancient volcanic explosion and even sleep at a hut on the slopes of one of the highest volcanic peaks in Patagonia.
