Multi-Adventure Valencia, Spain. The province of Valencia, Spain is a wonderful area for outdoor adventures. It's an extremely mountainous area and there is year round sunshine. The Mediterranean climate in this region allows for multi-adventure activities for all levels. There are world class rock climbing areas in Valencia, the most famous of which is Chulilla. However, there are several other areas with more amendable grades as well. Besides rock climbing there are hundreds of canyons that provide amazing descents for canyoneering enthusiasts. Along with these activities there are also several via ferratas in the province, and even more within the Community of Valencia, which includes the provinces of Alicante to the south and Castellon to the north.
Inland Valencia
Valencia is well-known as the birthplace of paella, with it's top claim to Paella Valenciana. The Valencia Orange is also an important cultural and culinary staple in this region. However, for the outdoor adventure seeker, inland Valencia is an incredible area of rugged canyons and mostly dry landscapes. Two main rivers carve their way through the province and along their trajectory they have sculpted their way through the softer layers of limestone to produce some truly amazing and deep canyons. These areas in inland Valencia are havens for outdoor enthusiasts looking for adventures without the crowds.

With so much rugged and isolated territory in inland Valencia, it's easy to put together some wonderful multi-adventure packages. We did just that with a Norwegian family looking for some challenging outdoor activities. What a day out this was! Via ferrata, canyoning, rock climbing, swimming, and caving.
